Ederson has been the cinematographer of the Muscari Armeniacum trailer, and is currently involved in the concept development of new dance projects.

Currently he works as an independent filmmaker/choreographer/dancer, making multidisciplinary stage creations, and performances with focus on contemporary dance, music and film.

Born in Brazil, Xavier has been living and working in The Netherlands since 1993 as a professional dancer, choreographer, dance teacher and recently graduated as a filmmaker at SAE Amsterdam (BAH Middlesex University UK). He had self-educated on various styles of dance in Brazil including, Capoeira, Afro, Jazz, Modern and  Contemporary dance techniques. After having 2 years of Ballet, method RAD; without family or any government support, he decides to rails to Holland to study improvisation, release technique and choreography at the SNDO Theater School Amsterdam (School for new dance development).

In 2002 he was awarded best dancer with Swan Prize VSCD (Dutch Theater directions) Theater Dance Price because of his recognizable style: sharp, passionate and lyrical. (SCUM by Nanine Lining).

In 2009 he was awarded as Best Male Act with DudaPaivaCompany (puppetry and dance) with ”Malediction”, at the festival Baj Pomorski, Torun (PL).

In 1998 he made his first choreography for the ScapinoBallet Rotterdam annual workshop, since then he had created 11 choreographies for the company’s repertoire. Since 2005 he’s been expanding his independent work as a choreographer by developing a unique and intense dance language with interest in multidisciplinary collaboration work. Besides his independent work, Xavier continued making choreographies by commission for other dance companies and schools throughout Europe, Russia and South America.

In 1998 he made his first choreography for the ScapinoBallet Rotterdam annual workshop, since then he had created 11 choreographies for the company’s repertoire. Since 2005 he’s been expanding his independent work as a choreographer by developing a unique and intense dance language with interest in multidisciplinary collaboration work.
