Regilio Sedoc
Dancer, choreographer, teacher
Regilio started his dance career at an early age. He has been working for AYA danstheater for 11 yrs and danced in Dubbelbloed (2005), Ziel (2009), IDeals (2010), Harnas (2013), Eerste Keer (2013) and Jubel (2015).
In 2011 he worked as a choreographer for Hind’s touring theatre show, whom we know from Idols and the Songfestival.
Regilio was an artist in resident with Dansmakers Amsterdam and his movement research resulted in a solo performance.
Besides choreographing and dancing, Regilio teaches Jazz and Yoga at the Amsterdam Dance Centre and the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. He also teaches workshops in the Netherlands and abroad. He loves to inspire his students and motivate them to give their best.
Together with dancer/choreographer Marloes van Houten he works on a dance duet ‘Say It’, that will be performed during the calligraphy exhibition “Between Lines: East meets West” in the Centrum voor Beeldende Kunsten (Amsterdam) in February/March 2018.
